A mortgage is a loan which is taken out and secured against the value of a property. They usually run for a period around 25 years however this can be longer or shorter depending on the needs of the person taking out the mortgage or the requirements of the lender.
If you don’t keep up with the repayments of the mortgage the lender may repossess the property which the mortgage is secured and sell it to recover their money.
What is a Re-Mortgage?
Re-mortgaging is where you change your lender to either get a better deal, borrow more money or because your circumstances have changed.

How can we help?
Once we are instructed, we will liaise with the mortgage broker to confirm what is required. We will then obtain and review your title documents to your property. Our specialist will then check the mortgage and advise you on its effect.
We will also conduct the required legal searches.
Once both we are both satisfied, we can confirm to the lender the certificate of title who will complete the process.
The lender will normally send the money to us. We will then normally use the funds to pay off any existing mortgage. This is a process called redemption.
We will then transfer the balance to you. We will also register the mortgage with the land registry.
